Course Overview

This program introduces students to the fundamentals of furniture design, joinery, and wood finishing. It focuses on the transformation of raw materials into functional and aesthetically pleasing furniture pieces. Students will learn traditional and modern woodworking techniques, ergonomics, design theory, and how to use a variety of tools and machinery. The course emphasizes craftsmanship, sustainability, and innovation, preparing students to work in furniture production, interior design, or as self-employed artisans.
